We floated for three days before the lights came on in the depths.

“You said there was land.”

“Sensors showed land. We knew this moon was mostly water. Sensors showed three huge land masses at the Northern pole. Where we are.”

The lights brightened, closer to the surface. 

“We went off course.”

“We didn’t.”

Glowing greens and blues of bioluminescence shone from underneath, glimmered off our helmets.

“Then where did three land masses the size of Greenland go?”

“Land masses that size don’t just… disappear.”

On the horizon a mountain range rose out of the ocean. 

“A ship?”

“A fin...”
